Second hand Alfa Romeo in Malaga
Alfa Romeo is an Italian brand founded in 1910 in Milan. Throughout its history it has stood out for the quality of its cars and is known worldwide for its sports models. It has participated in Grand Prix racing and in 2019 returned to Formula 1 competition with the Alfa Romeo Racing team. The brand has been known for its carefully crafted and stylish design, something that is appreciated by those who decide to buy a second-hand or new Alfa Romeo from a dealership.
Among the models available are a compact car such as the Mito, an MPV, a Coupe, a SUV and even a sports car under the name of 8C.
Some of the models we are most often asked about:
Alfa Romeo Mito
The Alfa Romeo Mito is the brand's most accessible car. It is a four-passenger car with a slightly lower ride height than other brands, which gives it a slightly sportier feel.
It's a car that's trying to carve out a niche for itself in the top end of the range. Among its special features is the DNA driving system for dynamic, normal and all-weather driving; the driving mode directly affects the suspension, acceleration, braking and steering, which can be felt while driving, unlike in other brands.
Inside, the rear space is somewhat larger than in a MINI, for example, but not as large as in a Volkswagen Polo. The rear seats only have two seat belts, making it a four-seater and the 270-litre boot is not the largest in its class, but sufficient for normal use.
Standard equipment includes cruise control, the aforementioned Alfa Romeo DNA system, rear parking sensors, air conditioning and Bluetooth connectivity for our phones.
Alternatives to the Alfa Romeo Mito could be the MINI, Citroën DS3 or Audi A1; all with very different aesthetics to this model, which may help you decide. If you want you can stop by our second-hand dealership and we will give you personalised advice so that you can get this or a similar second-hand car at a good price.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is ideal for brand lovers who need to buy a second-hand family car. This model appeals for its styling, which was last revamped in 2019.
Alfa Romeo buyers value design and exclusivity, as it's rare to find another one like it in the car park. It's a car that doesn't sell as well as its rivals, so it may take longer to find one at a good price if you're looking at pre-owned dealers. In its favour, it drives well and although the boot only has a capacity of around 350 litres, if you fold down the seats you can get up to 1518 litres, which is not bad at all.
We find again the DNA driving mode selector, already mentioned on the previous model. In addition to these driving modes, the entry-level Giulietta comes with 16-inch steel wheels, emergency brake assist, electric windows on all four doors, tyre pressure sensor and multifunction steering wheel as standard. Those wanting more extras should look to the Super, Sport or B-Tech versions.
Maximum power output is 120 hp and fuel consumption is between 5.5 and 7.4 litres/100 km dependent on whether you choose petrol or diesel.
Alfa Romeo Giulietta is discontinued in 2021, so if you like it you will have to find a pre-owned or used model. Alternatives to this car would be the Ford Focus, Mazda 3 or Volkswagen Golf.
Alfa Romeo Giulia
Alfa Romeo Giulia returns to rear-wheel drive, with premium finishes and an engine with power to suit all needs. It is one of the brand's popular models, so it is possible to find it second-hand or pre-owned at a good price.
This vehicle stands out for its control on the road. Rear-wheel drive and good weight distribution mean better steering control, which gives it added control in adverse situations.
Italian design and both petrol and diesel engines, from 160 hp to 540 hp. Inside, there is an 8.8-inch infotainment system and dual-zone climate control, among other options, which can be upgraded depending on the version you choose.
The entry-level version has a 6.5-inch screen, which is already a little out of date in terms of size, a multifunction steering wheel with integrated ignition and 16-inch wheels. The range-topping Veloce version offers an 8.8-inch screen, 18-inch wheels and automatic gearshift controls on the steering wheel.
Second-hand cars can usually be found for between 18,000 and 24,000 euros, depending on whether they are pre-owned or kilometre 0.
Alternatives to the Alfa Romeo Giulia would be the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C-Class. Do you like any of them? We can help you decide if you come and visit us at our Malaga dealership.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio
Perhaps Alfa Romeo's most brilliant car is the Stelvio, a compact SUV that has managed to draw on the best ideas to create this elegant and agile crossover with seating for up to five.
The interior is very similar to the Giulia and the overall appearance is good. It has a premium feel, although it doesn't quite match BMW or Mercedes in terms of quality of finish. All versions, from entry-level to Veloce, are fitted as standard with an 8.8-inch infotainment screen and Android and Apple connectivity. Depending on the version it may come with a wireless charger.
Although it doesn't offer the same amount of space as some of its rivals, it has a spacious interior in both the front and rear seats. Its 525-litre boot is only slightly behind that of the Audi Q5, and the seats can be folded down to make it even bigger.
Driving is fun and the car's rolling in turns is virtually undetectable. The sporty feel is outstanding as you drive it despite its height, and the 4x4 versions with hill descent control will help if you decide to go off-road adventuring.
It is available in petrol or diesel, with four-wheel or rear-wheel drive and power ratings ranging from 160 hp to 510 hp for the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio 2021. It is undoubtedly a wise decision to omit front-wheel drive across the range, as rear-wheel or all-wheel drive will give better control in all situations.
The size is 4,687 mm long, 1,903 mm wide and 1,693 mm high.
The main rivals for this model are the Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLC or Range Rover. If you want something more affordable, you can look at brands such as Volkswagen, Kia or Nissan among others; we can advise you and find the car you need within your budget.
